Clubs connect.

1. Clubs connect students to the college.  Campus life is so much more than the trek from the car door to classroom door and back again.  OC is full of resources and clubs help students figure out what they are and how to best use them.
2. Clubs connect students to a new sense of community.  Clubs help students connect with others with similar interests.  Some of the friendships made on campus today will last a lifetime.  The ability to work collaboratively is a key asset in STEM careers.
3. Clubs connect students to newly discovered passions and emerging strengths.  Opportunities made available by club participation help students ground decisions for future careers in actual experience.  It can help build skillsets and leadership capacity.
